DESCRIPTION: This is a Greek KYLIX: a shallow vessel used for drinking, with wide mouth and small handles near the rim.
1. glazed red clay and black painted figures
2. Legend: The god of wine, Dionysus, captured by pirates. Caused pirates' mast and boat turn into vines, leaves and grapes. They jump overboard & he turns them into dolphins.
