DESCRIPTION: This triptych ponders questions posed by the androgynous figure and the falling/unbroken egg, challenging, for example, our notions of “broken” and “unbroken”, cause and effect, identity, origin, aging, and fertility. Also, there arises a playful, surrealistic commentary on assumption and expectation when the 3 canvasses are ordered differently, further breaking all the rules of nature in the process.
