TITLE: Storm in the Neighborhood - Mixed Media on Panel - 36" x 36" x 2"

DESCRIPTION: We had two violent tornadoes strike recently not 5 miles from our house. Even though we were spared any damage, our neighbors weren't so lucky. This is my attempt to create an abstract work that portrays the energy of that storm and the odd, random stuff that got thrown around and then found in the rubble of the aftermath -- screen from screen doors, sticks that once were structures, leaves, twigs, all sorts of nebulous debris buried amidst the chaos, like... a remote control.
