It all started with the Summer Session, 2004, Atlanta College of Art:
I couldn't take it any more. Studying for Art History tests using
my puny little thumbnail sketches just wasn't cutting it. So I took
my digital camera to class and got industrious with Photoshop CS and,
well, here's the result: ELECTRONIC FLASH CARDS. How cool is THAT?
Not perfect, but hey, good enough to study from... and a damn site
better than my frenetic scribbles. (BTW - Until I figured out that
I hadn't affixed the camera securely enough onto the tripod I got
some blurry images in the beginning. Sorry about that. And thanks,
Yesael, for showing me how to automate actions in Photoshop). All
in all, this was an extremely helpful study aid for me, and my classmates
were pretty happy about it, too. It was so helpful, in fact, I continued
this for Art History II and III.
Note: Hope this is helpful to you. But don't sue me if there's any
misinformation. Do me a favor, though. If you find errors, please
email me and I'll make corrections! Somebody suggested I could get
rich off this whole thing by passwording it and charging for access,
but I think I'll just call it a day and chalk it up to "nice
guy" syndrome... Lucky you... :>)
