Susie Berta is an emerging visual artist in Atlanta, Georgia. Having established a successful career in music as a performer and vocal artist, Susie began her education in the visual arts at the Atlanta College of Art in 2003. After the school’s closure in 2006, Susie completed her senior year at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. She graduated summa cum laude in June, 2007, holding a BFA in Art with a concentration in Painting. Susie approaches her art and her music in the same way, with a desire to communicate, in a deeply personal, transformative way. Her work includes painting, printmaking, photography and multimedia, often in combination, and ranges from abstract to representational.

Susie lives in Newnan with her husband. They have two grown sons.
