Workshop Facilities

The first four sessions of the workshop are held at the instructor's home in Decatur; the last four sessions are at a professional recording studio in Atlanta. The studio environment enables students to master many technical intricacies of the business including: proper microphone technique, use of the headset, working to time with a music track, and sound booth etiquette for solo and dialogue work. A studio engineer will handle recording and playback and provide class members with cassette copies of their work.
