DESCRIPTION: CONSTABLE. This landscape is a LATER WORK. Skies more dramatic, agitated. No longer calm and placid from earlier works. More dabs and dots very pronounced, to produce sunlight reflecting off a form. He did it to create a more natural look, but impressionists did for different reason: color experimentation.
