DESCRIPTION: DEGAS. Ideal painter, flawless technique. Ingres his ideal who said "Draw lines and y ou'll become a good painter" consequently Degas became a master at drawing. He was a mean man, hated women and minorities. France, however, was very liberal and open multiculturally so he was a misfit here.
